We
are always excited to receive new shipments. That’s because we
are always searching for the most unique items. The presentation of
these unique and diversified items is one of the many reasons why people
travel from all over the country to visit us! Gail and her staff can’t
wait to display them, as they do so well in the nineteen room 1770 house
and renovated printing factory located down the street.
Although the shop leans strongly toward primitive decorating styles,
you will find a tasteful mix of country, colonial, and other unique
items no matter what your taste may be. The extensive, ever growing
inventory mixed with creative and artful ideas for displaying will keep
you occupied for several hours, taking you and your imagination to places
you’ve never dreamed of.
Many artisans chose Country Mischief as a place to showcase their work.
Greta designs and sews her “"Sew Be It"” brand
of dolls in her home in nearby Ashburnham. Local area Artist Jan Scott
offers original Santa's and Snowmen and Tammy creates everything from
samplers to primitive furniture (as well as decorating both of our stores!).
These
and many more artisans both local and national are displayed proudly
throughout the store, that you can leisurely browse while sipping on
that hot cup of complimentary tea, coffee, or cocoa.
Keep in mind...we can ship also anything (within reason!) to anywhere
in the united states...if you forgot to pick up that perfect gift last
time you were here...or wonder if we carry a specific item... just call

we'd love to hear from you and help you out!
